A Greater Applegate’s Nonprofit Network gathers local nonprofit leaders, volunteers, board members, employees and engaged citizens for connection, professional development trainings and resource-sharing.

Through a vibrant listening session in the fall of 2021, the Nonprofit Network helped identify three professional development workshop opportunities for the following year:  volunteer recruitment and engagement, board development and grant writing.  AGA is hosting workshops around these topics in 2023 and beyond.  Our meetings are not just productive, but also fun–each a lively social gathering held at beautiful venues like wineries, restaurants and parks throughout the Valley.   Plan on a glass of wine, local food and time to socialize.   We also host an annual holiday gathering in the winter with our Business, Nonprofit and Artist networks.

Wonder what topics are most important to Applegate Valley nonprofits? Check out the Nonprofit Network Listening Session notes here.

Through our annual Momentum Grants, AGA has supported local nonprofit projects and has contributed to organizations such as the Applegater, McKee Bridge Historical Society, local schools, events, and more.  In Fall of 2022 Momentum Grants will become Innovation Grants, which will mean greater alignment with the Applegate Valley Vision and double the funding. Grants open in the fall and will be shared with the community via our mailing lists. Learn more HERE

Our vision is for nonprofits serving the Applegate Valley to feel supported, and excited to collaborate on projects in ways that support the environmental, social, and economic vitality of the Applegate Valley.
