The All Things Fire Fair! returns to the Applegate Valley Fire District #9 in Ruch on Saturday, March 8th, from 10:00am-4:00 pm. This second annual event helps us move towards a fire-adapted Applegate with a family-friendly atmosphere and a mix of informational tables, presentations, and live demonstrations focusing on wildfire and community preparedness and the role of individuals in protecting their homes and properties.

10:00 – 10:45am: Welcome from Applegate Fire Marshal Brian Mulhollen: Prescribed Fire + Fuels Treatments

11:00-11:40am: Bureau of Land Management: Targeted Fuels Treatments and SOS Project

12:00 – 12:45pm: Firebrand Resiliency Collective: Home Hardening and Community Led Risk Reduction

1:00 – 1:40pm: Matt Ramage, Oregon Division of Financial Regulation: Understanding Home Insurance in Oregon

2:00 – 2:45pm: Rich Fairbanks: Thinning and Pile Burning along Evacuations Routes

3:00 – 3:45pm: Partnership and Watershed Council + A Greater Applegate: Building Community Resilience
