Join us for a family-friendly event featuring a dynamic mix of presentations and interactive demonstrations focused on wildfire and community preparedness.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore tables with essential information and resources– including how to access financial assistance for fuels reduction on private land in the Applegate. Come learn how to take action and hear from experts on a variety of wildfire related topics!
NEW: This year’s the fair will start with an evening “kickoff” event on Thursday, March 6th (5:30-7pm) at the Ruch Outdoor School Gymnasium. The theme of this event will be “prescribed fire”. It will feature a short film documenting the use of prescribed fire in Southern Oregon, followed by a panel of local experts discussing the topic, and finally a Q&A session with the community.
