This introductory workshop presentation considers the varied levels of understanding of and complex relationship with equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) topics. Attendees will become aware of commonly used EDI terms with a contextual definition of each. This will be followed by a look at one model of bias, which explores how they develop and some possible consequences.
